This is the upper section of a <em>kalis</em> scabbard, carved from a single block of hardwood. The carved walls follow the classic <em>okir</em>-inflected contouring, though the decoration is restrained. A single vertical motif—likely a simplified <em>dapun</em> (leaf) element—is incised along the center line, with the rest of the surface left plain.
