The hilt, carved from <em>kamagong</em> hardwood, terminates in an elongated ivory cockatoo (<em>kakatua</em>) pommel. Decorative ivory inlay is embedded into the <em>kamagong</em> surface, forming geometric and dotted patterns that follow the natural curves of the hilt.",
