Saints Boris, Nicholas, and Gleb
Three of the most popular saints in Russia, Nicolas (center), and the martyred young princes Boris and Gleb are carved in ivory relief. The ivory is fairly worn and darkened, and the silver mount, engraved with a floral motif, also shows signs of wear.
