Source Description
Chinese lions and several peony flowers decorate this tsuba. The two motifs often appear together. Both of these motifs and the shape of the tsuba body give this object a Chinese feel. The edges of the tsuba have gold plates decorated with peony. On the front, one lion appears above the central opening and other lion appears below. On the reverse there is only one lion at the top.
