Source Description

Chôhi (Ch. Zhang Fei [Chang Fei]) was a Chinese general during the Three Kingdoms period who was allied with Kanyu (Ch. Guan Yu [Kuan Yu]) and Gentoku (Ch. Liu Bei [Liu Pei]). The depiction on the kozuka may be a reference to a battle in 195 when Chôhi defended a bridge by himself, giving Gentoku time to escape.
