    "description": "This bowl, which sits atop a four-legged stand made of silver with inlaid semiprecious stones, is carved from a dark green jade boulder. Jade of this color, probably imported from the region of Lake Baikal in Siberia, is referred to as “spinach jade.” The rarity of the stones and the distances they had to travel to be fashioned into this work add to the bowl’s decorative value and must have appealed to craftsmen and their patrons.",
