Design in \"hiramakie\" on the mountain and \"okibirame\" in gold and silver on the birds and Mt. Fuji all on a background of \"mura-nashiji.\" The interior in \"nashiji\" and \"fundame.\" The rims in \"kinji.\" Inscribed in gold lacquer on the bottom of the lower case. Together with a carved wood netsuke in the form of a tortoise.",
