Helmet (""Kawari Kabuto"") with Conch Shell (""Horagai"") Shape
The helmet bowl ("hachi") is constructed of five plates in the form of a conch shell war trumpet. The gold lacquer interior indicates that the helmet was made for a very high ranking samurai.
