Source Description
The design is divided into two sections by a curtain hanging from a rope. The curtain is decorated with paulownia crests. Such a curtain would be used to create a tent or other enclosure at battlefields or outdoor outings by high-ranked people. This is only the decorative front plate of the kozuka.
