This enamel on metal snuff bottle is of Cantonese origin and has enamel work/decoration depicting figures in a verdant landscape including a four-character Qianlong [Ch'ien-lung] reign mark on the base which may be of the period or immediately therafter, late 18th or early 19th centuries. A typical metal stopper finishes the composition.
