Tsuba with a Snake and a Rat
The body of a snake appears to emerge from a hole on the right edge of the tsuba and wind down the bottom center. There, the snake's head is depicted with its mouth open and tongue flicking out. On the reverse, a rat (probably the snake's prey) is shown at the left.
