Document source description
This square-faced image has some of the personable qualities of the Khmer or Lopburi tradition. Unlike most 14th- and 15th-century images that look back to Khmer models, it lacks the characteristic pinched pedestal and has, instead, a plain straight-sided pedestal that may be a variation on a type used in the 13th century.
