Source Description
This tsuba is made in the shape of a horse. The horse's legs are wrapped underneath it, giving the tsuba a generally circular shape. The hair of the horse is indicated by small incised lines throughout the tsuba. Horses are one of the zodiac animals and also used by warriors.
