The nine scenes carved in relief on this ivory panel, from left to right and top to bottom, are: the Entry into Jerusalem, the Holy Trinity, represented as the three angels who appeared to Abraham (Gen. 18:1-15), the Annunciation, the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, the Crucifixion,the Raising of Lazarus the Resurrection (the Harrowing of Hell, a composition in which Christ pulls Adam, Eve, and other souls out of Hell), the Transfiguration, and Pentacost.
