Source Description
Hotei relaxes in a boat at the bottom of this tsuba, looking towards the moon on the upper left. Hotei is one of the seven gods of good fortune and is usually depicted as a jolly old man. An attendant accompanies him in this scene. On the reverse are two seals identifying the artist.
