Document source description
This plaque is one of four which were the ends of the lids of two caskets decorated with allegorical children's games. Here, a nude boy holding a horn is attacked by another armed with a club. A Cupid, fallen on his knees, tries to intervene. Between the two boys is scratched a love-knot.
