    "description": "The island of Enoshima lies just off the coast of Kamakura, south of Tokyo. This small island has been the site of shrines since the 6th century. It is now a popular tourist destination. At the lower right of the composition, waves are shown breaking against the spit of land that connects Enoshima to the mainland. A torii gate stands on the shore and the roofs of temple and shrine buildings can be seen above the tree tops. At the left is a small village. On the reverse is a scene of seven fishermen pulling a net full of fish and other sea creatures.",
