Source Description
At the lower right of this tsuba, a seated man dips his brush in ink. A sheet of paper is spread on the tray or small table in front of him. Another man sits at the lower left. At the upper left and on the reverse are New Year's decorations incorporating pine boughs. Pines are a symbol of longevity and feature prominently in New Year's decorations.
