Document source description
The scenes of the Passion, which are shown beneath arcades of four trefoil arches, read from the bottom left: Entry into Jerusalem, Last Supper, Arrest of Christ, Death of Judas, and Crucifixion. While the iconographic details are standard and found in Parisian work of the same period, the figure style is unusual. The crowded scenes are populated by thin, tall figures with sharp facial features. The silver hinges are 19th century.
