Document source description
Flattened gold links, folded double and pinched at one end, form the chain. The gold medallion features a Medusa head done in repoussé relief. The head is framed by a separately made ring, its join to the relief partially concealed by a continuous chevron pattern, fashioned from corrugated strips. Four hollow hemispheres dot the border.
