Document source description

A standard (oblong) gold lacquer three compartment inro. A design all around the inro with a water buffalo cow and calf standing on the shore near a winding stream on one side and a bull on the on the other side. Clouds at the top and the ground with grasses and flowers on the hilly shore. The design in "takamakie" in gold and brown lacquer with "togidashi" and "okibirame" and the background of the natural wooden core of the inro coated with a transparent lacquer. The interior is plain wood. The cord channels are external. Together with a carved wood netsuke in the shape of a peach with gold lacquer.
