Covered Bowl in the Shape of a Leaf

This delicate bowl resembles a fruit or perhaps a mango leaf, and may have been used to serve wine or food in the courts of India's ruling elite. Similar vessels are known from Mughal northern India, but none has two parts like this one. The lid may be a later addition.
