Source Description

This red-figure kylix depicts a youth to the left in a bell-krater in the tondo. Around his head is a wreath.The sides of the kylix depict three athletes. On the left, two youths bend over washing themselves in a laver (louterion). On the back, their lower arms almost totally disappear into the vessel, while on the front the left youth has the right arm out and bent by his side. On the right of the front, another youth stands to the right, while on the back the third youth stands to the left gesticulating. All wear wreaths.
