This small triptych icon shows the Crucifixion in the central panel, with Doubting Thomas and the Resurrection on one wing, and Pentecost and the Deposition on the other. Carved on the back is a schematic representation of the Cross, the lance, and the reed with a sponge. This is surrounded by six abbreviated inscriptions in praise of the Holy Cross.
