Document source description
The kashira of cherry blossom matches the other items in this set by Okamoto Tomokata. Two large metal plates are used on the tsuka in place of menuki. Both have a background of cherry blossoms and family crest. One crest is of wisteria with the character "kyû" or "hisashi" (meaning "long time") in the circle made by the flowers. The other crest is in the form of a large peony. This is part of a mounted set.
