2nd half 19th century (late Edo-Meiji) L: 7 11/16 in. (19.6 cm) Citation Source image

The kozuka is decorated with two diamond crests ("mon") and a floral scroll pattern. This crest was used by multiple warrior clans. It could have indicated the owner of the set or could have been commissioned by a member of that clan as a gift. This is part of a mounted set.
