Tsuka with Man Boating

19th century (Edo, Meiji) L: 6 5/8 in. (16.8 cm) Citation Source image

The tsuka is decorated with a metal band instead of menuki. The band shows a man pushing a boat through reeds. The full moon on the kashira and the reeds give the tsuka an autumn theme. This is part of a mounted set.
