Source Description
This non-original binding from Walters manuscript W.615 may date to the 9th or 10th century AH/AD 15th or 16th. The binding is dark brown goatskin (with a flap) and has a central lobed oval and pendants brushed with gold. The red leather doublures are decorated with filigree and a central lobed oval. The binding has a half-oval for the flap.
