A small perforation in the back part was used to attach the buckle to the girdle.The back shows the stamp of the ruler and the date in Arabic: al-Mansur 115x. The stamp belongs to Imam al-Mansur al-Husayn, who lived from AH 1139 to 1161 (AD 1727-1748).An engraved inscription in Hebrew names the silversmith: Yo(sef) Ab(raham) Kassar, siyyur (?).",
