Document source description

The tea glass holder (podstakannik) is decorated with white and foil-backed red and blue enamel in geometric patterns. Circumscribing the the holder in Church Slavonic in pierced work is the name of Princess Nadyejda Beloselsky-Belozersky (1847-1920), the sister of Russia's war hero General Mikhail D. Skobelev (1843-1882). Opposite the handle on the rim of the cup is a red enameled crown.
