    "description": "The copper octagonal box, which may have served as a sugar bowl, is enameled in white and is set with silver foil appliqués. On the lid, the appliqués are stamped with fleurs de lys alternating with rococo scroll work. However, parrots in vegetative scrolls alternate with exotic plants on the sides of the box,. The corners of both the lid and the box are demarcated by silver strips with saw tooth patterns rendered in niello.",
