Source Description
The charka is executed entirely in plique-à-jour enamel. In the center of the bowl is a blossom in red, blue, and off- white, enclosed within a green oval and bordered by blue circles. Around the top upper rim runs a band of geometric and circular shapes in a similar color scheme against a blue ground. Within the wall are two blossoms with blue centers and orange petals over an off white surface. The kokoshnik-shaped handle is enameled with abstract, vegetative motifs, also against an off-white background.
