Diocese of Soissons, ca. 1275-1300; three obits of a Benedictine house (fols. 3r-3v): (1) 10 June 1316, death date of Angelina, daughter of 'Walterius le uicomte de uillenoue', (2) 18 June 1316 (1317?), in same hand as preceding obit, Beatrice, mother of Jean of Esclainvillers, curate at Venizel, i.e. Benedictine priory of Saint-Crépin-le-Grand, diocese of Soissons, (3) 12 August 1370, in different hand from preceding two, bequest to priest of land holdings by Jean of Esclainvillers (another family member?); (fol. 1v) charter dated 1320 involving individuals from Le Puy, Saintes, Buixles-Aurillac (diocese of Rodez), cited individuals including 'Alemandus de Podio miles', 'Hugo de Podio / Raymondus Medullionis'; (fol. 266r) 14th century testament, names including bishop 'Uasion[is]' (of Vaison [?]); 'de Buxo' (Buix-lés-Aurillac, diocese of Rodez, of three mentions, last referring to church of Dominicans); bequest to chaplain for saying masses for deceased legatee; legacy to wife Beatrice (obit above, 10 June 1316/17); King Louis of France; 'Petrus Joannes Berard', curate at Bressieux (Isère?) (name inscribed on front pastedown & on fols. 201v, 265v, 266v), 17th century; fol. 261v, contemporary monetary notation: '100 leuz dors et deux leux argent fest [?]'; Léon Gruel, Paris, 19th/20th century, his summary description numbered '1506' on slip pasted onto fol. 1r; Henry Walters, Baltimore, 1895-1931, by purchase from Gruel.
