In Russia, this third-century Greek martyr, whose name means \"preparation\" and \"Friday\", came to symbolize Good Friday and the Passion. She is shown here holding a scroll with the first words of the Nicene Creed: \"I believe in one God\". On the right panel are the Resurrection (Harrowing of Hell) and Ascension. Above St. Pareskeve are the Holy Trinity (Genesis 18:1-15), cherubim, and the Holy Face.",
