Document source description
This Buddha with a pointed crown has a broad and straight mantle. The right hand is stretched out, flattened, and broadened. In this sculpture, textural variation is avoided, even on the pedestal, which has the general proportions and center projection of an earlier type but lacks a scrolled front edge and the presence of incised lines.
