Shoka with bow and arrows in gold and silver inlay descending from heaven on a cloud outlined with gold filled with fine nashiji in metallic lacquer on one side. Part of the cloud folds around to the other side with Minamoto Mitasunaka in gold and silver inlay in bold high relief reclining near a lantern in gold lacquer dreaming about Shoka coming. The background of fundame in gold with shadowy section in black lacquer. The interior in nashiji and and the rims in fundame or kinji. Inscribed in gold lacquer on the bottom of the lower compartment. The cord channels are internal.",
