Bodhisattva Lokeshvara
The bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is generally called Lokeshvara ("lord of the world") in Nepal. The Buddha of the Western Paradise, usually depicted seated in Avalokiteshvara's headdress, is here shown standing.
