My dear Miss Deans:-
Your letter enclosing blank application
for enrollment in the Red Cross received this morning,
which I am enclosing filled in with such information as
I hope you desire to complete your records.
It will
certainly supply another volume of "ancient history" for
your files.
I have a vague recollection of having
filled an application some years ago, but perhaps it is
only an impression.
It will be some thing of a calamity
to find me not eligible after all of these years alliance
with you, having been present "at the borning"
