Graduated from Maryland Homeopathic Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland - Jan. 6, 1896 Enrolled as Red Cross nurse Number 105 S a In 1919 she was Chief, Division of Assignment, Bureau of Information, in New York City e Authorized as American Red Cross instructor of Red Cross Home Nursing September 23, 1941, Hartford, Connecticut Experience prior to 1919. Interesting at this moment to read letter in her folder to Miss Noyes dated March 20, 1918, which says. "I have much to ask you, yours and Miss Delano's letters of instruction the demand along 5,000 June 1 has lines of ways and means of meeting for Red Cross nurses by been received and Connecticut stands ready to contribute her quota I have discussed with other members of the board the advisability of holding our June examination for registration before the regular date. We stand ready to do this or anything else that this urgent demand may necessitate.'
