A. H. WHETSTONE,
GENERAL MERCHANDISE,
EVERETT, PA.
Miss S. C. Francis,
Philadelphia, Pa.
Dear Miss Francis:
In reply to your letter of August
6th in reference to the character of Miss
Bertha C. Maugle wish to say she is a girl
of good moral character. She is one of the
highest type of girl-hood. Shu would do her
duty in every respect. She was with us in
our store for eight years and always did her
duty in every way and I am sure she would
be very loyal to our Government.
I am very glad to recommend her as
one who is most worthy for a position in this
worthy cause.
Very truly yours,
mrs.a.H. Whetstone
