My dear Miss Bigley:
Replying to your letter of July 16, may I state that we will keep you
in mind for the Near East Relief, but at the present writing it is impossible
for us to state whether or not you can be sent. Just as soon as some
definite information is available we will communicate with you Until
we
know definitely that you cannot be used for the Near East we will hemitate to
assign you to other work abroad, in view of your preference for this work.
