to be paid by the American Red Cross on the first and fifteenth
of each month, hereby promise and agree with the said Organization,
that I will enter the employment of the Organization on the lst
day of February, 1919 and will remain in the employment of the

organization upon the following terms and conditions:

I agree to serve until August 1, 1919, unless Commission

be earlier dissolved ; applicant to be returned to Paris, France, by
said date.
I agree to obey the rules and regulations of the American
Red Cross and the instructions and orders of those in authority and
to perform the work assigned to me.

This contract of employment is made and accepted upon
the express condition that the American Red Cross reserves the
right at any time to assign me to other work o to dismiss me
without cause, notice or indemnity whenever the American Red
-Cross or its proper representatives shall deem it advisable for
the good of the service.
4: Maintenance during the contract and transportation to
post and back to Paris are to be furnished.
