My dear Miss Britton:
In answer to your letter of December 9, lie are
pleased you are able to accept an appointment with the
American Red Cross-Harvard Hospital Unit.
We are taking only one non-profeesional person as
House Mother and have ulready made this appointment.
Otherwise we may have been abot to consider Mrs. Charlotte
Lincoln.
The date on which the nurses of the Unit will leave for
England is still indefinite. We feel it will not be until about
February 15. be still advise, however, that you not give up
your present position until you hear 1rom us again.
Your physical examination report has been received and
as aon as possible we shall inform you of the necessary
arrengements for your final physical examination.
We are enclosing'a copy of the uniforms and personal
clothing instructions and a copy of the plans for insurance.
