Extract from letter from Miss Ella Weir, Secretary of the
St. Joseph, Mo. Local Committee - Dated June 14, 1935.
"The Committee submits the following names for appointment
as members -
*
1535 - Miss Sallie J. Bryant - 2708 Monterey Street,
St. Joseph, Mo.
Will you please send us the No. 2 card of Miss Sallie
Bryant."
Extract from our reply to Miss Weir - Dated June 20, 1935.
"Regarding the nurses nominated for appointment; all the nurses
seem to meet our requirements, so far as their records in this office are
concerned. Of course, it will be necessary for Miss Sallie J. Bryant, who
was transferred to the third reserve sometime ago, to fill in a questionnaire
to bring her records up to date.
In the meantime, however, we are return-
ing her No. 2 card to you as requested, and we shall hope to receive her com-
pleted questionnaire before she is appointed as a member of the Committee."
