Florence C. Bullard
Extract from letter from Miss Noyes to Miss Nuno, 2-28-22
"Unfortunately, the first statement regarding Miss Bullard's illness was in-
advertently filed in her jacket before we had taken the matter up, but a
letter reached us a few days ago from Dr. Burlingame and now Miss Fitzgerald's.
They both seem to take the attitude that the Red Cross has been remiss, Miss
Fitzgerald stating - that it must have been an oversight on the part of the
Claims Committee. Inasmuch as Miss Bullard has never filed a claim and has
rendered service for us from time to time in apparently good physical condi-
tion, the Claims Committee is not in the least at fault. I have written at
some length to Miss Fitzgerald upon this point. I am afraid there may be some
difficulty in establishing Miss Bullard's right to assistance, I hope, however,
that it can be done.'
