B al at R F - O a e Extract from letter from "iss Johnson to Miss Noyes 1/4/22. , I know you will be distressed to hear that Florence Bullard is still desperately ill in the New York Hospital.- too ill to see any one of us although we have all written and sent flowers. *She was perfectly well when she went overseas and I presume that she was well when she vame home although she hes been frightfully nervous and going at top speed ever since her return. She has worked for us almost continuously in various capacities until the last few months. T believe her family consists of one sister and I presume she is spending her hard earned savings in the Hospital. Dr. is taking care of her so I presume her medical care will not cost her much, if anything. We of course, would have to get a history of the case and a. medical statement if then we were able to do anything about it. (*) ( Iam wondering if she will not be a Red Cross re sponsibility.) Ahs. by Miss Noyes. 1/6/22. " I was sorry to hear about Miss Bullard and hope that something can be done for her.
