Mr. H. L. Twine,
Yonkers, New York.
M
My dear Mr. Twine:
T
Will you please give me the present address of Mrs. C. H. Bunting.
Igthink that these are her initials, although they may be W. H.
Her hus-
band is now in France with the American Red Cross.
While
I
was
over
there, attached to the office of the Secretary General in Paris, Mr. Bunting
took up with me the question of haging arrangements made to send Mrs. Bunting
over to do Red Cross work in the capacity of trained nurse. Up to the time
Illeft Paris on November 28th I had not succeeded in making any substantial
towards getting Mrs. Bunting over there.
I am now attached to the
Bureau of Personnel, National Headquarters, American Red Cross, in Washington,
and I find that we have requested for the Paris Headquarters to send over a
number of trained nurses. I should like very much to get in touch with
Mrs. Bunting to find out what, if anything, she has accomplished towards
being sent to France. It may be that, if she still desires to g°, I can
effect some arrangements towards that end.
Thanking you for your courtess in this matter, I am,
Sincerely yours,
For the Division of Personnel.
