My dear Dr. Pearce:-
One of the most efficient helpers for the Government in
the inspection of surgical instruments is William V. Bunting, associated
with the U.S. Appraisers Office, 641 Washington Street,New York City.
He is doing most excellent work in inspecting the surgical instruments
for the Army.
Mr. Bunting has a sister Hilda C. Bunting who has an
application now pending in Washington for a position as Red Cross nurse
Thi s party is an experienced nurse and the application is now in the
hands of Miss Delano.
If there is anyway in which a word from you can bring this
to the attention of Miss Delano, I will feel obliged as Mr. Bunting is
heartily co-operating with me in my work on the surgical instruments
for the U.S.Army
