Please send me detailed information on Dr. Gordon's
unit for the study of contagion in war.

As I am President of the Boston City Hospital Alumnae

Association I am inclose contact with many nurses all of
whom have been trained in contagious nursing under Dr. Edwin
Place. Brief newspaper articles and inadequate rumors have
been our only information.
We wish to know:
1.) the date of sailing;
2.0 whether there is any financial remuneration;
3)
how many nurses are going
4) who will be in charge of nurses;
5) Whether a definite period of service must be
signed for;
6) whether there is a special uniform;
7) whether this uniform is provided;
8) whether transportation is provided;
9) must all the nurses be members of the American
Red Cross;
I would appreciate this information to help many
interested nurses.
The Boston Chapter of which I am a member, referred
me to you for these details.
