My dear Miss Young:
I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciate your com-
municating with me concerning your willingness to accept service dur-
ing the emergency at the Navaa Hospital in Brooklyn. We immodiately
called up the Navy Department on the telephone and they request that
you forward physical examination as promptly as possible, 00 that
your oriters may be sent you without delay.
The physical examins-
tion, will heed of course to be approved by that Department.
I
am
therefore enclosing blank for this purpose and ask that you have it
filled in and return at the earliest possible moment.
May I urge,
however, that you do not make definite proparations until you are no-
tified, so that no inconvenience will result.
